This is to let members plan for their first day out birding in the new year. The SOG outdoor programme starts every year with the Sponsored Birdwatch on January 1st. The sponsorship has supported many projects within Suffolk and for 2009 the Sponsored Birdwatch will be in support of the Suffolk Atlas Project. In conjunction with BTO National Atlas, Suffolk will produce its own Atlas to tetrad level. The aim is to have a bit of fun while raising some money, so there will be various categories such as Parish and Green along with most species in all Suffolk, to let all join in. There will also be a point system for each species to tally up, this is on the tick list form.

All results and sponsorship money raised will be published in a future Harrier.

Below can be found the various forms including sponsorship forms, species points list and the various categories.
