Projects and Surveys

SOG has taken an active role in conservation activities in Suffolk to help monitor and record species populations as well as setting up successful projects such as SCBOP and CARP, often in conjunction with other organisations.

SOG has a number of surveyors of varying skill levels performing a wide range of surveying tasks. For example these members regularly contribute to BTO survey along with a raft of ad hoc studies. An example of which being the two members performing an annual biodiversity study at a Viridor landfill site since 2011.
